Crafty Secrets DT Challenge, Tutorial and Linky Party

Welcome to the Crafty Secrets September Linky Party.  This month, we are celebrating Halloween and fall inspired projects.  Each design team member has prepare a tutorial to inspire you.  Today, I am sharing how to use the Brush Tool to make a simple and easy web for your next Halloween project.
Start by creating your new artwork file and opening up the digital files to be used.
Using the Move Tool, drag and drop the papers, photos and digital elements in place.
Next create a new layer to add the web on.  This way if you need to make changes you can easy do this without changing in other elements or papers.
Click on the Brush Tool and select the size of brush, color and opacity.
To give a more realistic look to the web, I then used the Eraser Tool to erase some of the hard lines.
Continue adding your journaling and other elements to complete your page.
Now it’s your turn!  Visit each of the design team blogs listed below.  Then create a NEW project of your choice featuring Crafty Secrets product and link it up to the blog. You do not need to follow this month’s theme to play along.  If you do not have any Crafty Secrets goodies, check the FREE DOWNLOADS located in the sidebar of the Crafty Secrets blog.  Be sure to link to the Crafty Secrets Blog in your post, and let us know what Crafty Secrets product you are using in your project. One lucky player will be randomly selected to win a $50 shopping spree in our online store.  Each player who participates will receive a $6 credit to the online store.  We’ll be popping by to leave you some lovely comments on your blog post, too. Thanks for playing along, and good luck!

You have inspired me enough that I asked the kids for photoshop for Christmas. Looks like an excellent purchase and you are so generous with your expertise that I may actually be able to use it.

Sheila, This is a great page and what a fun idea to draw a spider web for the little spider. It's weird I never think about drawing on a page digitally but you have inspired me with your easy to follow tutorial!

It's true your tutorials always teach me something - thank you!
