Good Friends

There is a comfort in knowing that I am blessed by so many good friends that are there for me when I need them.

These past several months, through my dad's journey with cancer I felt my friends surrounding me... lifting my dad, me and my family up in prayer.   Friends from near and far to help me along this journey.

Some special friends, who I have never met in person, but who I have such a special bond with... I felt their love across the miles.  And other friends who allowed me just to cry on their shoulder or to listen to me on the phone.

And other sweet friends sent beautiful cards, texts and emails  just to say that they were thinking of me.  I wonder if you all knew how much it meant to me and still does?  On those bleak days when I felt I just couldn't continue a sweet card, text or email seemed to come...  It was like these special angels were sent to help me through this journey.
Thank you for sweet friends.

Sheila, this card is just beautiful. I think it was Benjamin Franklin who said, "To have friends, you must first be one." So the friends who surrounded you during this time have much more to say about your character than you realize. Wishing you a beautiful day.
