I feel young at heart...
So why after long moments being bent over my garden planting pretty new flowers or yummy veggie plants, my body starts aches in places I didn't even know could ache? When did these aches start showing up?
I feel young at heart...
but for the past several weeks we have been planning our sweet daughter's graduation party and I am constantly thinking... how can I be old enough to have a child graduating high school?
I feel young at heart...
but now my little baby is learning to drive a car...
again I keep saying to myself "I am not old enough to have my last child learning to drive a car".
I feel young at heart...
Wasn't it just yesterday that I was playing in the backyard with my sisters, dating, graduating school and venturing out into the world?

I still feel young at heart...
but slightly older in other places.
Am I the only one who feels this way?
Wishing you a lovely day, dear friends.

Oh Sheila, I just love this post!... I feel exactly the same way... but you know, those aches from the garden are good aches... aches that say "hey!... I did it!" and now you have beautiful blooms and veggies... age really is a state of mind and I will always be young at heart too... even though I am turning 64 on Monday, I feel like I am 10 years old many days... Happy Mother's Day to you, xoxo Julie Marie
Congrats to your daughter and Happy mothers day to you I hope your day is lovely!
Time has a way of marching on...and you are certainly not the only one who feels it! No matter your age, dear friend, always stay young at heart:)
My one and only is learning to drive, and I still feel 25 in my head!
