Precious Pieces of My Childhood

There are moments when I wish I could remember the early days of my childhood.  We have precious pictures of my twin sister and I crawling, eating birthday cake, riding on our rocking horses and sitting in our rocking chairs.

I do have some pictures that include some of these precious pieces from my childhood.

I wish I could remember the name that I gave my first doll.  Was it Sally, Janie or Ruth?

I wish I could remember playing with this dump truck.
Did I load it up with rocks  to haul around the grass and then dump in the yard?

My Great Aunt Ruby and Uncle Glenn gave me the truck.

My Mama and Papa gave me the doll and juice glass.

When we were too old for them, they loving stored these precious pieces of my childhood away to give to me when I had children of my own. Mama even sewed a new dress for my doll as she couldn't find the one it came with.

I loving display these pieces of my childhood in my home along with our baby picture.  I am so thankful that my family gifted me with these treasures.

Because of that I have saved some of my kiddos' special pieces of their childhood...

so that one day, I will be able to give them both precious pieces from their childhood to hopefully treasure as I treasure mine.

Do you have precious pieces of your childhood?  I would love to know.

Wishing you a wonderful day, sweet friends.

Aww I love this :) I need to take pix of my toys too. My most cherished toys are my sticker book and Cabbage Patch radio.
