Captured Memories

When you look around my home, one comes to realize what is most important to me and my family.  Mini albums of family and friends sit in baskets, on shelves and tables.  Pictures of family members and friends grace the walls and side tables.  And this beautiful tribute to my sweet husband's parents, sit on our coffee table.

By a small child of nine, God had called both his parents home.

Most people who look at this don't see the amazing treasures that we see every day.  The bits and pieces of his parents that are all that we have left of their lives.

The precious watch, memo pad filled with his dad's notes and stamps from his collection.

We even have his navy pin, letters and jewels that his dad was learning to cut.

So many precious pieces of a lives gone by.  We are so blessed to be able to capture memories to pass down for a lifetime.

Do you capture your memories and display them?

Wishing you a beautiful day, sweet friends.
