Holiday Housewalk Party

Today, I am joining Jennifer Rizzo's Holiday Housewalk Party.

Welcome to our Holiday Home...

Our holiday home combines my love of handmade treasures and vintage family heirlooms to create a cozy and inviting space for family and friends.

Each year, the decorating isn't complete without my beloved Grandma's crocheted bell that gets center stage in our front room.

Without a chimney to come down, we created Santa's magical key to make sure that each Christmas morning Santa would be able to get all his presents inside.

Over 26 years ago, my mom and sister lovingly stitched this patchwork tree skirt filled with gorgeous fabric and embellishments from my life.  From the rhinestones, that used to grace my baton costumes, to teddy bears from my college towels, to plaid taffeta from a handmade Christmas dress, each patch is filled with precious memories.

More handmade goodness can be found everywhere.

Stockings to be filled with wonderful treats and treasures.

And Tinky loves this spot by the handmade pillow that my beloved "other" mother gifted me with.

The dining room wouldn't be completed without another tree filled with handmade ornaments through the years.
Each one filled with so many wonderful memories.

In our dinning room, more holiday happiness is found.

More vintage and handmade treasures are in my step back cabinet that my Mr. made for me years ago.
Vintage heirlooms meet handmade treasures.

Our kitchen also gets a holiday make over.

Complete with the lighted Santa from our childhood.

Snickers loves sitting underneath the Christmas tree and enjoying the lights.

Each year, we decorate for the holidays so we can warmly greet our family and friends.  Creating many more happy memories to cherish.

From our home to ours, wishing you a very Merry Christmas.
