There is something so special about taking the time to nurture your creative soul.  To really get your hands, heart and soul into a project.
(This project was inspired by Kristen at Faded Prairie.)

What is even more special is to then share your creative time with a dear, sweet friend.  A few weekends ago, Leah and I did just that.

We spent time laughing, talking and creating with our hearts.  These are moments that I treasure.  Every time I see this I see beauty and remember the times spent together.

These days when all our time is at a premium, it is sometimes difficult to find the time to nurture our souls.  When I find myself racing from one function to another, that is when I schedule the time to be creative.  Whether it is waking a few minutes earlier, or staying up later, I encourage myself and everyone to enjoy creative time. Is there a workshop online or near you?  Take the time, invest in yourself... it is so worth it!

If you are in the St Jo, MO area treat yourself to a few hours or a day at The Gathering on Sept 29th.  We still have room for you and a friend in some creative workshops. Sign up's end this Saturday, Sept 15th.  Treat yourself to an incredible day enjoying workshops, shopping and hearing Carol Spinski,of Raised in Cotton, speak. It is going to be an incredible experience.  I hope to see you there!

Wishing you creative moments today, sweet friends.

Beautiful, Sheila--both your creation and your words. Where would we be without creativity? I'd probably be a crazy lady...thank heavens I have the opportunity to get covered in glitter and ink whenever I choose...and sometimes that DOES involve staying up a bit later, doesn't it?! SO worth it!

Thanks for all you share, dear friend...

Oh, so true Sheila! In our crazy life we hardly take time to let our creativity go or share a special moment with friends. It is so important, thanks for reminding me!
