Recently I have been enjoying adding a few layouts from Ken's childhood.   As many of you know from following my blog my darling husband's both parents died by the time he was 9 years old.
We don't have very many pictures of him during this time, so what we pictures that we have are so very precious to us.

I can only imagine how it must have felt to lose one's parents at an early age.  To go through the pain of losing a mom and being uprooted from the life you knew in California to go live in Montana with your dad and his family.

Then losing a dad a few years later and being uprooted again and moved to Missouri with his Aunt and Uncle that cared for him and loved him as one of their own.

I sometimes cry for that little boy who lost his parents at such an early age, but I also realize that without all the pain and loss that my sweet husband endured we would have never met and had the amazing family we have now.

Love you sweetie...

Wishing you a beautiful day dear friends.

It really is a lot to bear to lose one's parents at such a young age and to be moved around as a result of the loss. Thankfully his aunt and uncle stepped in. They obviously loved and raised him well. Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Tammy
