Tinsel Trading

While in New York last month, we took the opportunity to visit one of the places that I have heard about for years.
As we walked toward the store, I was just giddy with anticipation.
Oh, the beautiful displays, vintage and vintage inspired items that were throughout the shop made me linger at each little section.
I tried to soak in all the beauty that was around each corner.
It was so neat to share this experience with my Mom, who loves vintage treasures too.
We could have spent the whole day lingering in Tinsel Trading going through the gorgeous trims, embellishments and millinery.
It was an experience that I will never forget and will cherish forever.
It was a feast for the imagination.
I walked around the store numerous times trying to decide on those perfect treasures that would come home with me and took many pictures to remind me of our time spent here.
I secretly wished that I had won the lottery, so I could have brought home the whole store.
No, I didn't with the lottery, but I did manage to splurge more than I normally would, with a little nudging from my Mom.  Thank you Mom, I am so glad that you did as I came home with some treasures I have already started using!

Show you tomorrow what treasures that jumped in my hands and my suitcase to go home with...
