As I reflect on this past year, I am reminded of the many happy moments spent:
A creative road trip with my dear friend, Leah, to Nada Farms where we got to take a an incrediable art class from Jeanne...
and where we met the talented and beautiful Tracey...
and met the inspiring and lovely Traci, whose laugh is so infectious.
Seeing our daughter run cross country and remind me, that even though you might not be the star athlete, finishing the race is what is most important.
Spending an incrediable girls weekend with my dear friend and at our sweet friend's cabin.
There have also been the not so happy moments when Ken was diagnosed with Alpha 1 and realizing that he (we) will live with this the rest of our lives. The weekly infusions, the doctors visits, and the constant worry that is always there.
Through it all I am so thankful and blessed.
This year, I am focusing on Following my Bliss...
Listening to what really makes my heart sing, and Acting upon that...
Spending quality time with dear family and friends...
Taking time to rejuvenate my creative passions and sharing it with others...
Being content with just being me....
So these first few days of the New Year, I am listening intently to what makes me Blissful. If I listen closely and follow it, it knows the way...
Wishing you a Blissful 2012.

I agree with your sentiments re: following your bliss...life on this earth is very short and we need to be happy to be good wives, parents, daughters etc.
