They are the kid's biggest cheering squad and many times heard on the field is Grandpa yelling their names and the kids giving the him the "sign" that they heard him. The sign could be the touch of a nose or the pat of their head. If they don't give sign, Grandpa continues until he gets that special sign from the kids.
Grammy, being the quieter of the two, will wait around after the game or activity to give a big hug and to give a few words of encouragement (and maybe a few treats that they have packed to share).

These special times spent are so near and dear to my heart. My kiddo's just love their Grandparents and I am so proud to call them Mom and Dad.
Love you guys!
I captured these moments in my Grandparents Make Life Grand Album that I designed for The Scrappy Gourmet.
Sarah posted a fun kids tutorial for super cute book marks at The Creative Patch. Won't you come on over and check it out?
Wishing you all a wonderful day, dear friends.
