I enjoy trying new craft projects and techniques. Inspired by Amy Hanna, I decided try my hand at paper mache. Using a vintage basket mold, I created these little beauties.
I had invisioned making many of these little treasures for my sisters and friends. Needless to say, paper mache and I do not get along and I only ended up completing 3 baskets.
I would love to hear if anyone has any tips or techniques in getting paper mache to dry and come out of molds easy.
Have a wonderful day dear friends.

Sheila, I love those. Where in the world did you find a vintage basket mold? I have not done the molds but I have sometimes put it in a low oven. I always put it in a dry, warm place and don't attempt it on damp days.
Hugs,
Suz
These are adorable! You did a lovely job! Paper mache is on my "to-do" list too ~ my last attempt was not so successful! LOL!

Those cute lil' beaded baskets don't tell the whole story, do they?! Thanks so much for mine...I love it:)
Those are so pretty Sheila!... I made some things out of paper mache when I was a little girl in school, but nowadays, I don't have a clue how to make it!... xoxo Julie Marie
Those are very sweet! I need to try to work with paper mache one of these days!
Sounds like a good fun, messy time! I haven't paper macehed since I made an egg pinata in grade school!
These turned out so cute.
I would like to know too because I find it extremely challenging to work with. Have a great weekend Sheila!
