Snow Day Dreamin'

January 12, 2011

I love snow, you know the kind that comes for Christmas and then goes shortly thereafter...

I would love snow more if all I had to do was stay all snuggled in, sipping hot cocoa and eating a few too many warm chocolate chip cookies. Oh, how I loved those snow days, those lazy, carefree kind of days. Fast forward a few years (ok more than a few), I have to go out in the bitter cold to help shovel the driveway so we can get our cars out. Leave earlier and get home later, due to the snow covered roads. No snow days here...

but I can dream.

There are those parts of snow that are not fun! When we were gone last time, there were three feet of snow. Katie was stuck with it. She and all of the neighbors in the cul de sac had to dig out all of the cars for a snow emergency. She was so pleased at how the "nice Minnesotans" pitched in and did all of this together. I was pleased that she got a good lesson in hardwork!

I am so so full of gratefulness that you would bless me with such a meaningful gift, Sheila. Talk about the " goodness" of people! I still have some more pictures to choose from so don't bother to put the pictures in, if you haven't already.

Bless you, my friend!

Big hugs,

No snow days here in California, either, Sheila! But I love remembering the ones we had when we were kids in Ohio!

Thanks for your kind visit today--I always so appreciate it!

Hope you're having a wonderful night!
