Picking Memories

One of our annual fall traditions is to join my dear friend and her family and pick our pumpkins from the patch. We look forward to it each year. This year it was a little glummy but the day was a perfect fall day with just a nip in the air. The kiddos hunt in the patch picking that perfect one... the only rule is that you have to be able to carry it out of the patch! As they have gotten older their pumpkins have gotten smaller. I think it is because they realize that they can be quite heavy carrying them out of the patch and to the car! This year thanks to our kiddo's we got our picture taken together. So many times we are the ones behind the lenses and hardly never in front!
This year we will remember the wonderful time spent together, laughing, talking, reconnecting and being a little silly. (No Leah, I am not posting our silly picture... today.)
I hope that you all pick some wonderfull fall memories for yourself.
You'll be glad that you did!

And I am stuck at home finishing swaps. I do remember this so fondly when Kat was little.

I am not sure if I told you there is a giveaway on my blog, jewelry designed by Robin Thomas (A Nest with a View) and myself. No strings attached!!

See you very soon!

Wonderful pix. Visiting the pumpkin patch is the first thing I do to celebrate the Fall. Happy Halloween!
