Finding Inspirations

For the past almost week my creativity has been completely dry. I don't know if it is the weather, the fact that my job is stressful lately, or the fact that I would rather curl up on the couch with my family and watch TV (which is a very rare thing for me to do - I only have 1 TV show that I consistently watch, Extreme Home Makeover). Well this morning I had been very inspired by Rebecca Sower and her traveling companion that was feature in Somerset Living. She took this beautiful old small suitcase and transformed it into her traveling art center. Of course, I wanted to find just the perfect suitcase - until I remembered that I had this...
I had purchased over 3 years ago to paint on it. Got all the paint, but never found the time or energy to paint this. I think I bit off a little more than I could chew. So this wonderful lunchbox treasure, which reminds me so much of my Dad's that he carried for years to work, is now being transformed into my traveling art center. So I can grab this and start crafting at work during my lunch. Rebecca Sower said she had to have something to inspire her so she filled her suitcase with wonderful vintage finds, wooden bobbins, vintage pictures and quotes. This is a work in progress as I want to go antiquing to find some more things to add to my crafting lunchbox, but it is a start.
