Weekend Ramblings

This weekend was filled with sports games and Ken's birthday. Friday night we went to the high school's varsity football game and had a great time. The kids enjoyed talking and playing with friends, and the parents enjoyed talking and watching the game. Saturday morning we woke up to a chilly morning and Connor's football game. It sure felt like football weather as I was snuggled up in a coat and warm blanket. Connor caught a beautiful pass that was picture perfect - OH, didn't have my camera out then! They ended up winning the game! Go Longhorns! Saturday night we spent a family evening at home. I fixed Snachos and cheesecake brownies for Ken's birthday dinner and we sat around watching movies. What a great evening! Sunday brought Ken's actual birthday! Yes, sweetie you are older than me for a few short months - not that I a rubbing it in. Love you! We went to Janna's game. She did a great job as a midfielder and they ended up tying it 2-2. Go Hornets! We then came home and enjoyed a nice afternoon together as family, Janna and I crafting, Connor playing gameboy and Ken catching up on all the football games.
