Baseball, Ice Cream & Catch Up

After the boys came back to win their game on Wednesday night, we all headed to Dairy Queen for an ice cream treat. All of us enjoyed a cool, smooth, creamy chocolate delight! (Could there be anything better?) Ice cream and summer just go together.

This weekend was filled with more baseball, baseball camp with some of the Royals coaches, soccer tryouts (go Janna!) and laying our flooring downstairs in my scrapbook nook! On Father's Day Ken enjoyed going golfing with his friend Brett. He had to try out his Father's Day gift - new golf balls (did I tell you that he went out and bought them - I guess he didn't trust that we could get them the right ones... I look at a golf ball and they all look the same to me. Probably a good idea that he did go get them!)

While he was golfing I was playing catch up from the week, cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and laundry. (The stuff that never ends!) While Janna and Ken had some father daughter time, I did a little "snuggling" with Connor while watching a movie, which I made him promise that no matter how big he gets he will never be too big to "snuggle" with me!

Then we fixed brats and all the fixin's for dinner. I even had a little time to put together another tween layout for July that I am just loving! Stay tuned for a sneak peek!
