Real Women Scrap

I checked this book out from the library. I am loving the way Tasra Dawson talks about learning how to create balance not only in your layouts, but in your life too. (I definitely need this in my life - as I seem to go 90 miles an hour and then drop by the end of the week!) She also shows how you can keep yourself in the picture, both on and off the page. She gives techniques on how to crop choas and clutter on your page and most especially in your life. (I definitely need to reread this to really "get it"!) She also focuses on what truly is important and how to replenish our reserves by R.E.S.T - relationship, enthusiasm, scripture and thanksgiving. I love the heartwarming and inspirational stories throughout the book that have brought both giggles and tears to my eyes (and let me know I'm not the only person that is crazy about this whole concept of scrapbooking - from documenting my life, to collecting the newest products). My goal is to take some of her wonderful tips and techniques to help me really stay focused on and rejoice in my life. I'll let you know how it goes!!!
