Art Journal

August 25, 2014

I am so excited to be creating my first art journal filled with sketches, doodles, old papers, and vintage goodness.
I don't know why it took me so long to create this little book filled with my creative expression.
Maybe because it is sometimes overwhelming to put pen hand, not always knowing what the end result will be.
But I am learning to love this process.   I am also beginning to realize that I am creating this artwork for me, so there is no right or wrong.  It is amazing to see as each page is transformed.  Here are just a few that I have finished.  Can't wait to create and share more with you.

I love it. I have an art journal started that i have neglected for far too long. You have inspired me!

I agree, I really like having a book that I can use for random doodling or lettering, or gluing in bits and pieces of papers I want to save without worrying about finishing a whole page.

(And I just got a white pen like yours and I love it!)

This is just so lovely in its simplicity. Thank you so much for sharing these photos. I always read your PhotoShop tutorials and now I get to see a different part of your artistic life with your art journal pages.

I love it! Journaling is something I always intend to do, start to do, but never keep up with it. :/ Have a great day. Tammy
