Photoshop Friday - Creative Project

July 11, 2014

Welcome to another Photoshop Friday Creative Project.  Today, I am creating a new background papers by combining two different papers and using Blending Modes.

Begin by creating a new file and opening the files for the background papers.

Click on the Move Tool and bring move the papers to the new artwork file.

I put the floral pattern paper on top.  Then select the top layer by clicking on it, it will then change colors.
Next select the Blending Mode by clicking the on down arrow.

For my example I used Luminosity, but play around with the other Blending Modes until you get your desired look.  Next, I used the Opacity Slider to adjust the opacity.

Once you achieve the look, remember to save the new pattern paper created so you can use it again and again.

Thank you for joining me for another Photoshop Friday Creative project.  Tomorrow I will be joining  Karen's Where Bloggers Create Linky Party and I will be sharing with you my creative space.  Hope to see you here!

Have a wonderful weekend, sweet friends.
