Photoshop Friday Creative Projects

May 9, 2014

Thank you for joining me for another Photoshop Friday Creative Project.  Today, we are creating a designer divider for your planner.  I am a big list maker.  I enjoy the process of writing the tasks down in my planner and then love checking them off when completed.  I wanted to add a little bit of my creative self in my planner, so I created this easy and beautiful divider.
(Project created with Crafty Secrets Creating with Vintage Illustrations and Angel Blessing Digital Art Stamps)

Determine the measurements of your divider and create a new file.

Open up your digital files to be used. Using the Move Tool drag, drop and re-size.

To add a dimensional look click on the fx Effects and choose Outer Glows from the drop down menu.

To adjust the Outer Glow, click the Show Style Settings Wheel and use the sliders to adjust.

Continue to add additional digital files and text.

Save your file, print and trim.  Then I mounted it on pattern cardstock, added some glitter, lace and vintage button to complete.

Then I tucked it into my clear divider tab and inserted it in my planner.  Wouldn't it be fun to create a few different ones for each season? I am enjoying how this had added a touch of beauty to my everyday.  It just makes me smile!

I am also linking up with Alice's Sundays at Home Linky Party.   Won't you join me for more inspiration?

I hope you enjoyed another Photoshop Friday Creative Project.  Please join me again next week.

Wishing you a creative weekend, dear friends.
