Photoshop Friday - Using Black & White Images

Hello and welcome to another Photoshop Friday tutorial.  Have you seen some of the beautiful black and white images and not know exactly what to do with them?  They are great to add interest to your color to your backgrounds.

Start by creating your new artwork file.

Then add the color that you want to work with.

Next move your black and white image to your new artwork file.

Now is where the fun begins...  by choosing the Blending Modes you can change the effects.

Once you have the desired look, you and additional overlays, digital images and pictures to complete.  Or you can save your file and print your new background paper.  It is all up to you!

Thank you for joining me for another Photoshop Friday Tutorial.  Come back next week for another fun and easy tutorial.

I am also joining Jenn Rizzo's Fabulously Creative Friday.  Won't you join me?

Wishing you a creative weekend sweet friends.

Hi Sheila,I have to try this blending mode effect. I love how you can erase parts and control the way you want it. Thanks for sharing!
