Photoshop Friday - Blending Paper using Gradient Tool

January 17, 2014

Thank you for joining me for another Photoshop Friday tutorial.  Today I am going to share an easy tutorial on blending digital papers to achieve a new look.

I just love the look of blending that digital creations afford.  Many of my layouts uses some sort of blending to achieve that look that I love.

Start by creating a new file and then stack your papers.

Then link the layers together.  Making sure that the top layer is selected click on the Add Layer Mask icon.

Then click on the Gradient Tool and drag the tool from left to right side of paper.

It blends the two papers together.

Experiment by adjusting the settings on the Gradient Tool Box.  Remember the Undo button is your friend, so if you don't like it click undo and adjust again.

This technique will have you making new multiple digital papers using the ones you already love.

I hope you enjoyed another fun and easy Photoshop Friday tutorial.  I am also joining Jenn Rizzo's Fabulously Creative Friday.  Won't you join me?

Hope to see you again next week.

Happy creating!

This is such an amazing layout, not just because it is beautiful but because you managed somehow to make it look 3-D. I am so impressed!
