Photoshop Friday - Making Text Stand Out

December 20, 2013

Welcome back to another Photoshop Friday.  Today we are going to learn about making text stand out. This is one of my new favorite, easy tips.

I love the look of text right on top of the pattern paper. By sampling the color of the background paper, you can make your text pop.

Use your Color Picker Tool to select the color from the pattern paper, making sure that the pattern paper layer is selected (see above).

Next select your Brush Tool, then the brush to be used.  It helps to get a soft edge brush.

I like the softer look by sliding the opacity down.  Remember if you don't the look you are achieving, the Undo Button at the bottom is your best friend...

I hope you enjoyed another fun easy Photoshop Friday Tutorial.  Join me again next week.

Wishing you a creative day, sweet friends.
