Photoshop Friday - Digital Inking

November 15, 2013

Welcome to another Photoshop Friday tutorial.  Today, we are going to learn about giving a little texture and dimension to your papers by digital inking.

(Layout created with Crafty Secrets - Creating with Vintage Christmas CD)

Create your new file to start your artwork.

Open your file to me inked.

Then open a new layer by clicking on the new layers pallet icon.

Then click on your brush tool and choose the brush to be used.  By choosing the brush it will default to the size and opacity settings loaded for that brush.  If you want it changed you can use the slider bar to change.

Then click to choose the color.  On my example I choose white.

Now here is the fun part...  start painting.  If you get too much just use your Undo Button at the bottom of your screen.

Next link your layers together.

By linking your two layers together it allows it be moved as one element.

I hope you enjoyed another Photoshop Friday.  Join me next week for another fun and easy tutorial.

I am linking up with Jenn Rizzo Fabulously Creative Friday.  Won't you join me?

Have a wonderful creative weekend, sweet friends.

I always love to see how you alter those digital papers. I don't have photoshop, (Paintshop Pro) but I am always able to glean a little more digital knowledge from your very clear instructions. Love your work! xoxo
