Photoshop Friday - Creating Embellishment Clusters

November 8, 2013

Welcome to another Photoshop Friday.  Today we are going to learn about creating element clusters to use in your digital artwork
(Layout created with Crafty Secrets - Creating with Retro Christmas CD)

Start by creating a new file to layer your embellishment files on.

Open all files to be used and start dragging them onto the new file.

Position them on top of each other, resizing if needed.

To now make these two elements move as one, right click on the top layer and select Merge Down.

Continue to add layers to you new file.

If you would like to erase an element you can click on the layer tab that the element is on and click the erase tool.

Continue to do the above steps until your cluster is created.

Then choose the top layer and click Merge Visible.

This allows the cluster to be moved as one piece.

Now you can move the embellishment cluster to your artwork as one piece.

I hope you enjoyed another Photoshop Friday.  Please join me next week for another fun and easy tutorial.

I also linking up with Jenn Rizzo's Fabulously Creative Friday.  Won't you join me?

Wishing you a creative weekend, sweet friends.
