Early Riser

May 8, 2013

There is a lot to say about rising early in the morning.  That is when our house is still quiet and my family is still snuggled in the beds.

These are the precious hours that I get to myself.  To create, catch up on things, read from God's word and enjoy a few moments to myself.

It is a time that I cherish... and it always seems to go by so quickly.

But these precious moments are therapy to my soul.

So for now, as I sit here "talking" to you it is an early morning and I am reminded of my sweet Grandma who also enjoyed getting up each morning early (most of the times before 5 am).  I remember as a child, when I spent the night at her house,  I so wanted to make sure that I got up then to enjoy some time with her. What sweet memories...

Wishing you a beautiful day, sweet friends.

My favorite time, too. Even now with the house quiet for most of the day, there is still a special peace at the time of day.

I'm an early riser, too. I always feel robbed if I don't get that quiet time to myself at the start of the day. The whisk brooms are precious!
