Here Comes the Parade & Mama Blue's

October 1, 2012

From the young to the young at heart, everyone loves a parade.
This weekend was homecoming here in our small town.  This year, for the first time ever, I got to enjoy the parade with my guys as a spectator instead of being one of the parents walking with the kids.
I got to watch as Janna rode the senior football float.  It brought tears to this Mama's eyes.
Knowing this was her last homecoming parade that she would be involved in.
As a senior, I am seeing her time come to an end here in our small town.  With each day, activity and high school accomplishment I get a little teary eyed.  Then at the same time Connor is embarking on his first freshmen activities, it reminds me of how much fun these next four years will be....

and how all to fast they will all come to an end.

This Mama is NOT ready...

I knew this year would be hard for me...  but does it get any easier?

I hope so or I am definitely going to have to buy stock in Kleenex!

Wishing you a beautiful day, sweet friends.

Good times, making good memories:) Focus on the fun!! It may not get "easier"...but there are still a whole lot of wonderful days coming your way!
P.S. But I'll keep some tissues in my pocket for ya, friend;)

Yes they do grow fast! We don't have home-coming parades here- and I'm still not sure what they are about?
