Creatively Made Business Swap

June 15, 2012

This year I was so excited to be a part of Jeanne Oliver's Creatively Made Business class.  I have learned so much can't wait to show you what I have been working on.

Through this class, I have met so many incredible artists that are taking their art to the next level.  It has been an inspiring journey so when Stacey said she was hosting a swap, I knew I just had to join in on the fun!

I received this beautiful package from Deborah...
As I read Deborah's heartfelt and beautiful note, that touched my heart.
I just love the word Bloom that Deborah used...
It not only is a word that means a lot to her, but is also very meaningful to me as I continue my art journey.

Each detail is gorgeous and piece I know was cut and glued  with care.  The camera didn't pick up very well the shimmer on this piece that just adds to the beauty.
Deborah also included this handmade ATC card.  Isn't this little ballerina just precious?
Thank you Deborah for all my beautiful creations.  I have hung your gorgeous artwork in my studio and it is a daily reminder of you and this incredible journey that we all are on to bloom into the people God meant us to be...

I had the opportunity to create something for Mikel.  I was so moved by her and her blog, if you have a chance go visit her as I think you will be too.

I created this keepsake box and combined new and vintage elements to complete it and hold her special gift.

I hope that she enjoyed opening her gift as much as I enjoyed wrapping it for her.

Tucked inside was one of my handmade necklaces made from vintage pieces of fabric, pearls, buttons and lace.

I antiqued the copper to make it look vintage and hand stamped the word Faith.

I hope you join me in visiting the other swap participants...

Have a lovely day, dear friends.

Hello Sheila, I found your blog in a roundabout way, via Mikel Glade Lyman, and thought what a beautiful necklace and box you made for her. I love your gift from Deborah as well. Bye for now :) Jane
