Found Inspiration

May 11, 2011

You never know where you will find inspiration.  One of my favorite calendars that I treat myself to each year is by Gooseberry Patch.  I just love the bright, fun vintage images that are on each calendar page.  I saw this image of a clothespin hanger made out of a small dress and knew I had to create something like this for my laundry room.
I have been on the hunt for that perfect dress and I finally found it last weekend.  I enjoyed creating this clothespin hanger using some vintage lace, buttons and photo.

Now it hangs in my laundry room and makes me smile and I have my clothes pin in a spot that I can get to!
You never know where you will find inspiration...

Wishing you all a lovely day, dear friends.

Adorable, Sheila. I'll bet your house is just full of clever things. I like that dress. It's cute but not "cutesy."

Suz

Awww... that's darling! I feel more exhaustion lately than inspiration. Just a moment in blogland and already the ideas are starting. Thanks for sharing your sweet project.

Blessings... polly

I love this idea! I should do this with the blue check dress I sewed for my daughter when she was two yrs. Old...and then add a photo of her wearing it...etc...thanks so much!
Imagine it all done up like a museum, and displayed inside of a plexiglass frame!!

Ciao Bella!
