Praying for Time

October 25, 2010

These past several weeks have been crazy around my household. Between soccer for both kiddos, cross country, football, basketball, choir performance, district choir, dances – racing my kiddos from one field to another there just doesn’t seem to be enough time. That all doesn’t include my DH and my schedule that gets thrown in there… work, coaching, creative designing and getting ready for Silver Bella in less than 3 weeks! I just wish some days my life would slow down just a bit… that there would be more time in my day. It would be nice if a magic fairy came and cleaned my house, did the laundry and cooked the meals.

Does anyone else feel this way sometimes? I am the only one that does? No I am not trying to whine… I know that I am truly blessed to have an amazing family, great kids that love being active (and staying out of trouble), a supportive husband and wonderful friends. I am just praying for a little more time…

Have a wonderful day dear friends.

It is not whining ... it is just being all caught up in everything... You feel like ths sometimes even after retirement... then you have the time but your bidy is rather worn out and takes longer to do everything... I am on break right now from sweepng and mopping cause I can no longer complete it without a break... Enjoy your younger years.... You are doing a wonderful job....

Yes, you are blessed...you have a very full life:) Enjoy these crazy-busy days because, before you know it, the kids will be grown and gone! In the meantime, give yourself a breather...block out a chunk of time in your planner just for doing nothin':)

I am right there with you....trying to work 3 days weekly, run the household and finish up 4 swaps for Silver Bella. Not enough time in any day and some days, I am just plain ole worn out!! See you at Silver Bella in about 2 weeks!!

Sheila...My last two posts have been about this same topic! It's hard to just make ourselves stop and enjoy the moments while not thinking about the afterschool schedule or the table full of half-way finished Silver Bella swaps in the garage...I wish I knew the secret to getting my mind to just be still...
