Kindred Creative Spirits

July 28, 2010

These past few weeks, excitement is building for Silver Bella. With all the wonderful, creative swaps, getting to know new Bellas, shopping and creating for our Bella Babes. It is amazing to meet kindred creative spirits that really “get you”. They get why your knees go weak when you see creamy lace pieces, and help wipe up your drool as you sit staring at vintage bling, and don’t ask why you are buying more millinery when you already have so many. These kindred spirits have your back and understand your need to add more creamy buttons to your ever growing stash of buttons that have grown from one jar to many jars strategically placed all around the house. What is one more jar of buttons anyway when it brings such pleasure? That is why I love to blog and meet other bloggers that share this creative spirit.... Thank you dear friends for sharing your creative spirit, your comments and especially youself.

Shelia, yeeeeeeees, buttons! Hardly take up any room. And jewelry, it always fits. And pillows, I mean pillows right? Ribbon, spoons, bobbins, beads...and so on. I get you.

I get you...and Robin thomas too... jewellery, ribbons, buttons, fabric, lace, beads, scrap papers, vintage pictures.....*drool*
I'd like to ask how do you find the swaps? i'd love to join in something a bit different. I signed up for an ATC swap only to be told it was US residents only :(

Well said, Sheila! I adore the women who "get us", that is the best part of the whole event!

Sheila, your description of my craft room...er...rooms, is so apt. Thank you. I can't wait to show it to my husband, who talks so much about all my jars of buttons and boxes of lace and shelves of barkcloth. Oh, and the old, heavy, wallpaper books we have moved twice! I especially like the weak knees part! I get it!
