Love Found a Way

July 31, 2010

Last night was a magical night as my dad and Martha spoke their wedding vows before God, their family and friends. It was so wonderful to see my dad's smile and truly see him happy again with wonderful woman that truly loves him and his family. Our family has known so much sadness these past 3-4 years, starting off with the diagnosis of liver cancer of my beloved "other" mother. Her courageous fight and finally God calling her home. Less than a month later, God called my uncle - her brother, home. And then not even a year later God called my grandma, their mom home to be with Him. Martha's family has also known sadness too with the loss of her beloved husband to cancer.
Dad and Martha's family had a surprise for them.... as my Dad's oldest granddaughters, my daughter Janna and my niece Shelby, sang with Martha's son Bill. It was beautiful and of course my dad had tears in his eyes! Then we celebrated into the evening with food, family and friendship. Such a happy occasion!Love found a way... found a way to mend hurt hearts, to bring the happiness back and to blend two loving families together.

Dad and Martha, may God bless you with many years together as husband and wife. We love you both!

How fun that you and Jane were at the same event. You both do amazing work. And she certainly knows how to repurpose anything and everything.

Have a beautiful day. :) Tammy
