So How Long Does it Take....

September 25, 2009

To get some of my stitcheries framed? Up to 5 Years!!!!

This one was by far the oldest and one of my most favorites. It uses hand dyed thread that gives it a rich variegated look. I just love the little frog sitting there between the pumpkins!

This one was 4 years and my plans are to leave it up all year round. I know, I know there is a pumpkin, but I just love the message and I think the crow is pretty cute.

And this is one that my Mom finished for me 2 years ago. It goes with a lovely vintage snowman she finished for me. I now only have 2 more finished stitchery projects to go... I hope I can get my DH to help me with the old frames as they are a little too big. Do you have any projects that are this old just waiting for you to finish? I hope I'm not the only one that does this!!!

Better late than never! Love your idea of keeping the "give thanks" up all year. And hey, if you run out of space at your house, I've got a perfect place to hang that cute lil' snowman:)
