Feeling the Need

June 5, 2009

to Create! Have you ever felt like your creative well has dried up? When the your need to create is so strong, but yet you set at your desk longing desperately to create something but nothing comes? The longer you sit the harder it is to create? That is where I have been the past week. I so want to be able to create, but my creative brain has taken a vacation. Maybe it is the hectic week and the stress that I have been under. I hope that it isn't for long, because my heart and soul is really craving that creative outlet. I realize that something within me NEEDS to be creative. Working a 40 hour week at a job that has ZERO creativity, my designing and creating is my outlet... something I crave desperately. So for now, I have posted some beautiful bird houses that my children completed with the help of their Grammy and Grandpa. We recently hung them outside in our backyard so I could see them every time I let the dogs outside. They are a gentle reminder that creativity is for everyone, no matter how old or young you are... I realize that eventually my creative side will burst forth, but for now I wait...

Hi Sheila! Thanks so much for coming by my new blog and visiting. It's always good to hear from you. I'm sorry you are feeling un-creative
these days. I know I get very frustrated when that happens to me. But hang in there....It's in you...it's just having a little nap!
When it wakes up it will be all fresh and ready to go!
